Azerbaijan, Baku, May 11 / Trend H. Valiyev /

Azerbaijani mobile operators may refuse anonymous call services, Bakcell chief lawyer Mehman Samadov said.

He said this issue is urgent today at the level of the Communications and IT Ministry.
After getting an appropriate order, this service will be withdrawn from the list of services provided by mobile operators.

Head of Bakcell Corporate Sales Department Zaur Bayramov said the issue of suppressing anonymous calls is being discussed between the ministerial officials.
This issue became urgent after Azerbaijani Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov voiced the ministry's plans to prepare a new document to suppress calls from mobile phones with "hidden numbers."

The minister said that today there are a lot of calls and complaints. The actions will be taken. The ministry, as a regulatory body, has certain powers to combat such phenomena.
