The State National Service Turkmen airlines will sign a target contract with "Thales Air Systems SA" (France).
The relevant decree was signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The deal involves equipping the air traffic control center of the International Airport in Ashgabat with modern equipment.
The matter rests in purchasing and delivering the equipment, as well as the contract for its installation and commissioning.
Thales International began negotiations about a year ago, when senior vice president of the company was received by President Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat.
Thales's representatives also stressed the interest to present their capabilities and experience in providing reliable control of the pipeline system, including gas pipelines in Turkmenistan.
