Two more enterprises have been granted the resident status with the High Tech Park of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), the High Tech Park told Trend May 3.

The enterprises are a plant for recycling of lead-alkaline batteries and Bulgarian company MARS Armor.

The High Tech Park expert council considered and approved their applications for obtaining the resident status. The resident status will allow the companies to develop their activities in Azerbaijan.

The business plan of the plant for recycling of lead-alkaline batteries stipulates construction of the same-name enterprise, which will engage in introducing foreign experience in collection and disposal of used batteries.

The main activity of MARS Armor will cover production of bulletproof vests.

The experimental-industrial plant of the ANAS, the ANAS Science and Technology Park, Millers Oils Azerbaijan LLC., Agro Bio Ecotech LLC., DN-Technologies, EPC Group Algoritmika, LabDisc and AZEL Tech have already obtained the resident statuses with the ANAS High Tech Park.

The High Tech Park is located in the territory of the ANAS experimental-industrial plant in Ahmadli, Baku.

The High Tech Park is aimed at supporting innovative ideas, fully implementing and selling them in the future.
