Revenues received in January-October 2018 from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 718.3 million manats, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend on Nov. 13.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in comparison with the same period of 2017, the revenues of the mobile communications sector grew by 1.5 percent.
Revenues of the mobile communications sector accounted for almost 47 percent of total revenues in the telecommunications market.
In the first ten months of 2018, population and organizations in Azerbaijan were provided with information and communication services worth 1,530.3 million manats, which is 8.8 percent more compared to the same period in 2017.
Of the total information and communication services, 72.8 percent accounted for services rendered to the population. At the same time, 81.7 percent of the revenues received by the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
