The volume of revenues received by mobile operators in Azerbaijani Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) from January through July 2020 amounted to 25.6 million manat ($15 million), Trend reports referring to Nakhchivan State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the revenues of the mobile communications sector increased by almost 1.8 percent in the reporting period compared to the same period of 2019, and amounted to about 1.6 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market.
Meanwhile, the cost of information and communication services in real terms increased by 3.2 percent compared to the first seven months of last year.
Information and communication services worth over 32.2 million manat ($18.9 million) were provided to the population and organizations in Nakhchivan AR from January through July 2020.
In 2019, information and communication services in the amount of 52.8 million manat ($31 million) were provided to the population and organizations in Nakhchivan, which is 2.8 percent more compared to 2018.
