The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies has developed 2 packets of proposals on changing the tariffs of international calls, Trend reports quoting the head of the Department of Finances, Registration and Economic Analysis, Rashad Nabiyev, as saying.

According to Nabiyev, the first packet of proposals envisages increase of subscription fees for local talks from 3300 manats to 10,000 manats, which would enable to decrease tariffs for international calls by 40%.

As to another proposal, Nabiyev noted that they took into consideration the interests of law-income people. “In this case the subscribers will not use the services of international calls and pay 3,300 manats monthly fees,” he underlined.

According to the Minister for Communications and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, the proposals will be shortly presented to the Tariff Council. “Perhaps, by January the Council will take resolution in this direction,” the minister underlined.
