By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:
New bus stations are being built in Turkmenistan's Mary, Balkan, Dashoguz and Lebap regions, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.
The bus station in Mary is being built on the Altyn Asyr ring road. Currently, work is underway to prepare the foundation of the main building and the construction of related technical structures.
The Mary and other bus stations are being built according to a single project. The two-storey buildings will have the shape of an eight-pointed star, and on the roof of each of them it is planned to lay out a pattern.
The construction of new bus stations will ensure uninterrupted bus and car communication between the regions and within them. Together with the already built bus station in Ashgabat, the terminal in Mary will connect the centers of all regions of Turkmenistan into a single network.
Construction is carried out by Muhammet-Balkan company.
As reported, Turkmenistan’s Muhammet-Balkan company is building modern bus stations in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary regions of the country.
Waiting rooms, cafeterias, information boards, information services, and communication points are planned to be built within the facilities of bus stations, which will be equipped with advanced communication systems, including digital technologies.
The bus stations are built by the order of Turkmenistan's production associations.
Previously, the Muhammet-Balkan company won the international tender announced by the Turkmen Ministry of Construction and Architecture to build the facilities. It has experience in building such facilities. A bus terminal of international class, located along the Ashgabat-Dashoguz highway and constructed by the company, was commissioned in September 2014.
