Certain facilities launched at airports of Iran's Kerman Province

A number of facilities at a cost of 4.53 trillion rials (about $108 million) were put into operation at the airports of the Kerman Province (southeastern Iran) today on Feb. 8, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami attended the event dedicated to the launch of facilities at the airports of the Kerman Province.

According to the report, 3.33 trillion rials (about $79.2 million) has been spent on the development of the Kerman international Airport.

“A total of 1.2 trillion rials (about $28.5 million) has been spent on the launch of the DVOR / DME system, airport equipment and vehicles at the Kerman and Sirjan Airports in the province,” the report said.

In addition, the foundation of a 3,500-apartment residential complex in Kerman Province will be laid as a part of the Iranian National Housing Plan, the report said.
