BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 24. Azerbaijan's exports to Kazakhstan significantly increased from January through March 2023, reaching over $29 million, Trend reports citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, this figure is 2.7 times higher than in the same period of the previous year ($10.4 million).
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's imports from Kazakhstan totaled $102.1 million in the reporting period, which is down by 71.7 percent in comparison with the first three months in 2022 ($175.4 million).
The overall trade turnover between the countries accounted for $131.1 million from January through March 2023. This figure is 41.72 percent less than in the same period last year ($185.9 million).
In addition, Kazakhstan is listed in the top 5 countries, that import Azerbaijani non-oil products. Consequently, Azerbaijan's exports of non-oil products to Kazakhstan totaled $27.5 million in the reporting period.
