BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 27. Austria's exports to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $10.9 million in the first 10 months of this year, which is more than a twofold increase over the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, the following goods were exported from Austria to Kyrgyzstan from January through October 2022:
- plastics and products from it ($2.3 million);
- drinks and beverages ($1.9 million);
- passenger cars ($1.4 million);
- pharmaceutical products ($1.4 million);
- electrical goods ($1 million).
During the reporting period, the value of Kyrgyzstan's exports to Austria was negligible. Kyrgyzstan only exported petroleum products worth $293,700 and wooden products for $123,500.
Meanwhile, the total trade turnover between Austria and Kyrgyzstan from January through October 2022reached $11.4 million, which is 2.4 times more compared to the same period last year ($4.7 million).
