The revenue part of the Turkmen state budget for January 2019 was executed in the amount of 1.4 billion Turkmen manats, and the expenditure part - 1 billion manats, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen government.
The value of capital investments directed to the construction of industrial and social, as well as infrastructure facilities amounted to 181.6 million manats.
On Dec. 4, 2018, the Turkmen parliament adopted the draft law “On State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2019”.
In general, the revenues of the state budget will be 83,868.3 million manats in 2019, and the expenditures are planned in the same amount.
The official exchange rate of the Turkmen manat against US dollar has remained unchanged since January 2015 ($1 = 3.5 Turkmen manats).
The revenue part of the state budget is formed, mainly, through oil and gas, chemical, power engineering and construction sectors. Agro-industrial complex, transport sector, communication sector, textile industry and food industry will further develop.
Turkmenistan holds one of the key positions in the supply of natural gas in the region, which is exported to China and Iran.
