‘Oguz ýol’ economic society in Turkmenistan, which grows agricultural products on 1,360 hectares of land in the Kaakhki district of the Ahal region, uses drainage waters, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan portal.

According to the information, the company has built seven reservoirs with an area of ​​four million square meters and the production has been provided with special waterproof layers to prevent the formation of wastewater in reservoirs and land salinization.

It is reported that the company also has a modern greenhouse with an area of ​​eight hectares.

In addition, ‘Oguz ýol’ planted 820,000 seedlings of apple, cherry, peach, almond, olive and apricot on an area of ​​655 hectares of land. Also, the company plans to harvest about 10,000 tons of fruits in the first year of harvest, and in subsequent years to increase them to 40,000 tons. Seedlings are watered individually with drip irrigation.

In the future, the company plans to plant barley, wheat, potatoes, onions and other vegetables on 1,350 hectares of land.

Currently, ‘Oguz ýol’ employs about 500 specialists. When it reaches full capacity, the company plans to double the number of specialists. Within the production area, the company has four dormitories for 650 people.

Moreover, it is planned to organize the export of the bulk of the grown tomatoes and other vegetables to Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, the UAE and other countries of the world.
