BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent LLC signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of renewable energy sources in Uzbekistan,Trend reports via the Uzbek ministry.
The memorandum provides for the following:
- Consider the possibility of establishing a joint laboratory for testing and certification of inverters and renewable energy storage systems based on digital solutions with the supply of equipment from Huawei;
- Consider the possibilities of joint use of buildings and infrastructure for the implementation of projects arising from the memorandum, holding joint events;
The parties envisage consideration of opportunities for further cooperation and implementation of joint projects in the framework of the development of the renewable energy sector in Uzbekistan.
