TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, July 21. Uzbekistan plans to build together with the world's leading companies solar and wind power plants with a total capacity of more than 15 gigawatts, Trend reports.
According to an official source, this was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 21 when he visited the Alutex enterprise located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent city.
The President noted that 'green' energy is a ready market, great opportunities for Kazakhstani producers, but the main requirement is quality.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan pays great attention to the development of alternative energy. In particular, large-scale work has been launched to install solar panels, while increasing the demand for aluminum profiles.
The Alutex LLC in May of this year, launched a project for the production of aluminum profiles for windows and solar panels. The company is capable of producing 30,000 tons of aluminum profiles of more than 350 types per year.
