Iran tests satellites Tulu, Nevid and Misbah 2 and the country plans to implement projects on their launch into orbit in 2010, Iran's Electronic Industry's Space Systems Office Deputy Director Mehdi Mousavi Bajani was quoted as saying by Mehr.
Bajani said the satellites that have passed the test will be launched into orbit via vehicles of local production. "We will not launch only three satellites into orbit in 2010, as the country runs program to develop other satellites," he added.
The first Iranian-made satellite Umid was launched into orbit by carrier rocket Safir February 3, 2009. This event was dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Iran first orbited the living organism in early February 2010.
