Germany's Liebherr Group won a tender on selling cranes to Iran's Shaheed Rajaei Port.
Once the tender was announced, international and domestic companies offered their conditions.
"Liebherr was selected as winner of the tender due to the high quality of its productions," Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization's official website reported Feb.17.
The report didn't give further details of the tender.
Shahid Rajaei port is located 23 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas, the capital city of southern Iranian province of Hormozgan.
The port is equipped with 18 gantry cranes and 41 docks, which make it the biggest and most modern container port in Iran.
