The stations producing energy from renewable sources may be built in Iran’s border provinces, representative of the Iranian parliament’s Energy Commission, Asadullah Garahani said.
Alternative energy may play an important role in the development of border provinces, Garahani added, Trend reports referring to ISNA.
Instead of expensive power lines, stations which will produce energy from renewable sources may be built in these provinces, he added.
