Georgia, Tbilisi, Aug. 22 /Trend N.Kirtzkhalia/
There will be people aged 21 in the electoral list of Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili.
"We must mobilise to prevent the dream of our enemies from being implemented so that Georgia doesn't let its freedom succumb to another political force, or to any person imposed on us from outside," Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said in Anaklia during the meeting with students who participated in the seasonal employment programme, Summer Job.
The president noted that his electoral list will include persons aged 21 and it will be a step forward.
"You are the generation for which we have been building a democratic Georgia during all these years. You are the generation that was born and grew up in a difficult period, but began to develop in a developed country. For many of you, these elections are very important as many of you will vote and take part in the elections, as the age limit for members is reduced. My electoral list will necessarily include people aged 21 and this, in my opinion, is a step forward," Saakashvili said.
The parliamentary elections in Georgia will be held on October 1.
