Euro MPs Visit Georgia

(www.civil.ge) - A group of the EU parliamentarians, who are part of the EU-Georgian Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, will visit Georgia on September 9-14, reports Trend.

The delegation will meet with President Saakashvili, Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze, Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili, Justice Minister Gia Kavtaradze, as well as Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vyacheslav Kovalenko and representatives of the civil society and media, according to the Georgian Parliaments press office.

On September 11 the EU parliamentary delegation will visit South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali.
