One security officer, two protesters dead in Egypt demonstration

An Egyptian security officer and two protesters died in a nationwide demonstration held Tuesday against President Hosni Mubarak and the government, Xinhua reported.

The police officer died in the clash with protesters in downtown Cairo, said a spokesman of Egyptian Foreign Ministry.

The two protesters died in the eastern city of Suez, local media reported.
