On Sunday, a building collapsed in Cairo, injuring at least 13 people. Preliminary investigation data provided by police suggested a natural gas leak as the reason of the explosion.
According to the Al-Ahram newspaper, the blast killed two residents of the building and a passer-by.
The gas explosion in Egypt also damaged several cars and nearby buildings, the outlet added. Two of the injured in the incident remain in critical condition, Al-Ahram said.
