A civilian was killed and seven others injured Thursday morning when a bomb went off in Khost, the capital of eastern Afghanistan's Khost province, a health official said.
"This morning at around 8 a.m. a dead civilian and seven injured people have been admitted to the provincial capital hospital," head of provincial health department, Karokhil told Xinhua.
He said the injured people sustained wounds in a bomb blast in Khost city.
