Some 32 people were detained as a result of the Turkish Security Forces' special operations in various cities, TRT Haber TV channel reports on Friday.

The detainees are suspected of involvement in terror acts and assisting the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Fighters of Kurdistan Workers' Party systematically organize terror acts against the civilian population and the country's security forces.

On Sept. 22, military wing of terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), a radical group Kurdistan Freedom Falcons claimed responsibility for the explosion in Ankara, which killed three people and wounded 34.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK has been on-going for more than 25 years, claiming over 40,000 lives. The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by both the UN and the EU
