Turkey and Saudi Arabia are negotiating the purchase of Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), the Turkish media quoted Director of Turkish company Savunma Teknolojileri Muhendislik ve Ticaret AS (STM) Davut Yilmaz as saying Feb. 28.
Yilmaz said that Saudi Arabia and Turkey also hold negotiations on the purchase of other products of the Turkish defense industry.
The director noted that Saudi Arabia is also interested in the MILGEM project.
In 2007, Turkey announced the MILGEM project, which mainly envisages production of military ships.
