Turkey’s revenues from exporting steel to Kazakhstan increased by 17.7 percent in January 2021 compared to the same month of 2020, having made up slightly over $1 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, Turkey exported steel worth over $1.05 billion to global markets, which is 7 percent less than in January last year.
Thus, Turkey’s steel exports amounted to 7.8 percent of the country's total exports for the reporting month.
Over the past 12 months (from January 2020 through January 2021), Turkey exported steel in the amount of over $12.5 billion.
