The Turkish port of Botas received 658 ships from January through June 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
Of the ships received at the port, 97 were flying the flag of Turkey, 561 - the flag of other countries.
In June 2021, the ports of Turkey received 3,917 ships, the ministry said.
As the ministry noted, 1,218 of all ships received were flying the flag of Turkey, 2,699 - flags of other countries.
According to the ministry, the ports of Turkey received 23,369 ships in the first half of 2021, including 7,341 ships flying the Turkish flag.
At the same time, 16,028 ships were flying the flags of other countries, the ministry noted.
