Turkey increased steel exports by 77.5 percent from January through September 2021 compared to the same period last year up to $15.8 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on October 11.
According to the ministry, Turkey exported steel worth $2.6 billion in September 2021, which is 1.4 times more than during the same reporting period last year.
Over the past 12 months (September 2020 - September 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $19.5 billion.
