Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay said, "43 died in the blasts, most of them being Turkish citizens" on Saturday, Anadolu Agency reported.

Atalay stated that the works related to the perpetrators of the Reyhanli blasts were about to be completed, and those who have conducted the blasts were related to al-Mukhabarat, a pro-Syrian administration organization.

"Their license plates have been detected. The atrocious incident is not related to Syrian refugees or the Syrian opposition," added Atalay.

Announcing that the death toll rose to 43, Atalay said, "We have detected that the blasts were conducted from inside Turkey."

Turkish Interior Minister Muammer Guler on Saturday also said speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA) at the Mardin Airport, Guler said that around 100 people were wounded in the blasts in Reyhanli and 29 of them were in serious condition.

Muammer Guler and Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu will depart from Mardin for Hatay province later in the day.
