Rovnag Abdullayev awarded with Georgian Presidential Order

Head of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) Rovnag Abdullayev on Monday was awarded with the Georgian Presidential Order of Excellence, the press service of Mikheil Saakashvili reported.

Honorary order, which is awarded for outstanding achievements in various fields, Saakashvili gave Abdullayev.

Rovnag Abdullayev and Mikheil Saakashvili attended the opening ceremony of the cultural and entertainment center "Tea House" in Marneuli. Georgian language, computer, crafts and drawing cources was opened there. The President of Georgia spoke with Azerbaijani students in Georgian.

"Eight years ago when I came here before the presidential election, I had to communicate with the public in Russian. Very often had to resort to the help of an interpreter. We are united Georgian people, and everyone knows it. These people are our strength, and the more we are integrated, the better we mean that Georgia is our common home, the more we will fight. I am proud of what we have achieved in recent years, "- Saakashvili said.

Opening of the "Tea House" allowed to employ 70 people. Monuments of Nizami and Shota Rustaveli established in front of it.
