CIS scholars get access to Azerbaijani DATA-Center’s computing capacity

DATA-center's resources of the Institute of Physics of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences have been used for scholars of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna (Moscow Region) to conduct calculations, the Institute of Physics told Trend on Saturday.

Azerbaijani scholars were able to use the Grid-infrastructure of the Institute for Nuclear Research.

A database has been created in Dubna. Its resources are available to all countries, which are part of the center. As one of the founders of the International Innovative Nanotechnology Center in Dubna, Azerbaijan is in the course of events in the field of nanotechnologies in the CIS countries and the world. It has been directly involved in research projects.

At present, Azerbaijani young specialists undergo training and refresher courses in Dubna.
