Azerbaijan and Germany will cooperate in nuclear research, the director of the Institute of Radiation Problems under the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Adil Garibov told Trend.
He said that he will visit Germany to learn more about nuclear technologies in the country from June 5-11.
A protocol of intentions providing scientific cooperation in nuclear research is planned to be signed between Azerbaijan and Germany at the next stages, Garibov said.
He said that he will also participate in the meeting of the commission of the CIS member-states to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, to be held in Moscow on June 29 - July 2.
An exhibition of nuclear energy, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of CIS will be organized within the meeting.
The CIS countries exhibition will attend the exhibition.
