A large Azerbaijani production facility located in country's Nakchivan, Gәmiqaya Bәrәkәt Qida Mәhsulları LLC, will expand the range of some grocery products, a source in the company told Trend.
In particular, it is about the development of new varieties of pasta, the source added.
"Since the beginning of 2020, the enterprise increased production volume of pasta by 15-18 percent compared to the same period of 2019. It is planned to increase these figures up to 25-30 percent for export until the end of 2020. The company plans to organize export to Georgia in 2020," said the source.
Earlier, it was planned to export products to Iran and Iraq, and it is expected that it will be carried out in autumn, after the completion of the development of new types of pasta. It is also planned to introduce new products into production in September 2020 and begin exporting towards the end of 2020,” the source noted.
The company's products have ISO 9001: 2008 certificate and certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The company uses equipment of Italian, German and Turkish production.
