Azerbaijan plans to amend legislation to support local production

To support local production in Azerbaijan, it is planned to make amendments to the country’s legislation, Vice-President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan Vugar Abbasov said, Trend reports citing the confederation.
Abbasov made the remark at a meeting held in a videoconference format.
The confederation will create conditions for the availability of financial resources in order to support local production, the vice-president noted.
In turn, Chairman of the supervisory board of Azersun Holding LLC Abdulbari Gezel, stressed the importance of expanding local production in order to create new jobs and ensure employment of the population.
During the meeting, the Presidium of the confederation made a decision to submit the proposals presented in connection with the issue under discussion for consideration of the meeting chaired by the Minister of Economy, the message said.
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan was established in 1999. It unites in its ranks over 1,000 business entities, including 35 associations and unions of a socio-economic profile.
