The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR)and Uzbekneftegaz JSC discussed export insurance coverage of loan funds to finance the second stage of the program to increase hydrocarbon production, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
The mentioned issue was discussed by EXIAR JSC General Director Nikita Gusakov and the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullaev during EXIAR JSC General Director’s visit to Uzbekistan.
It is reported that the main topic of discussion at the meeting was the plans of the national operator to increase the volume of exploration and drilling work, the acquisition of material and technical resources of Russian production, and other topical issues of cooperation.
The parties also highlighted the current issues of the implementation of joint projects in the oil and gas industry, in particular, export insurance coverage of loans to finance the second stage of the program to increase hydrocarbon production, as well as drilling and geological exploration in 2021.
It was noted that the implementation of these measures will become the basis for the intensification of oil and gas production in Uzbekistan.
