The money supply in manat terms (M2) in Azerbaijan in 10M2021 increased by four billion manats ($2.3 billion), or 21.5 percent compared to the same period last year - from 18.57 billion ($10.9 billion) to 22.57 billion manats ($13.3 billion), Trend reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, the cash money supply in circulation (M0) increased over the year by 1.09 billion manats ($million) or by 11 percent - from 9.98 billion ($5.9 billion) to 11.08 billion manats ($6.5 billion), the expanded money supply (M3) - by 5.514 billion manats ($3.2 billion) or by 20.4 percent, up to 32.4 billion manats ($19 billion) against 26.9 billion manats ($15.8 billion) a year earlier.
Also, the money supply for transactions (M1) for the year increased by 3.22 billion manats ($1.9 billion) or by 19.9 percent - from 16.17 billion ($9.5 billion) to 19.40 billion manats ($11.4 billion).
