Azerbaijan's Finance Ministry auctions off public bonds

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. The Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) held an auction on the placement of public bonds of Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry with a circulation period of 728 days on June 14, 2022, Trend reports citing the BSE.

According to the exchange, 14 investors submitted 22 bids in the price range from 93.6476 manat or $55.12 (eight percent) to 99.2466 manat or $58.4 (4.9 percent) during the auction.

In accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Finance, the cut-off price of public bonds was set at 98.7795 manat or $58.14 (5.15 percent), and the average weighted price – at 99.0048 manat or $58.27 (5.02 percent).

The total amount of bids at nominal prices amounted to over 101.1 million manat ($59.5 million), while the placement volume totaled 20 million manat ($11.77 million).

The maturity date of the bonds is June 11, 2024.
