Revenues from mobile communications and information services in Azerbaijan rose in 2021, the State Statistical Committee told Trend.
According to the committee, this figure exceeded 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion), up by 145.44 million manat ($85.55 million), or 6.1 percent, on annual basis.
Some 982.8 million manat ($578.1 million), or 41.2 percent, of the revenues, fell on the telecommunications market (mobile operators).
Of the total volume of communication and information services, 75.8 percent were services provided for the population.
More than 81.1 percent of the sector's revenues came from private enterprises, the committee added.
