Tolkunbek Abdygulov was appointed chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. Such a decision was made today at the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Kabar reports.
During the discussions, the deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament marked questions in the sphere of conducting monetary policy, analyzing the current economic situation and forecasting the development of the main sectors of the economy.
Abdygulov answered the questions of the deputies.
Earlier Tolkunbek Abdygulov held the post of deputy prime minister. Prior to that, on August 26, 2017, he was appointed first deputy prime minister.
In addition, Abdygulov worked as the chairman of the National Bank of the country in 2014-2016.
