Kyrgyz PM receives outgoing German ambassador

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev told good-bye to the Ambassador of Germany Mr. Holger Gren, the Information Policy Department under the Government Office reports, 24.kg reported.

Reportedly, today the head of the Cabinet received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kyrgyzstan Mr. Holger Gren. The meeting was held at the behest of the Ambassador due to the termination of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.

The head of the Government noted that Kyrgyzstan lays big emphasis on development of bilateral and mutual beneficial relationships with FRG. According to him, Germany is one of key countries of the European Union. Almazbek Atambayev put emphasis in the important role of FRG in development and adoption of the EU Strategy for Central Asia.

In his turn the Ambassador stressed that Germany will continue contributing to democratic processes in Kyrgyzstan. According to him, Germany stands ready for further comprehensive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and developing contacts of Kyrgyzstan with leading countries of the European Union.
