BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Beans, nuts, and dried fruits are the top agricultural products that Kyrgyzstan exports to the European Union (EU), Aiperi Jailoobaeva, an official of the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan, said during IBC TradEx 2023 forum in Bishkek, Trend reports via Kyrgyz media.
She added that Kyrgyz entrepreneurs also sell EU countries mushrooms, textile felts, and sewing products.
As for other export destinations, Jailoobaeva said that Kyrgyzstan exports sewing and textile products, fresh vegetables and fruits to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
According to her, the exports to the EEU countries also include dairy products, nuts, beans, and dried fruits, as well as incandescent bulbs which are currently becoming increasingly popular.
Furthermore, Kyrgyzstan exports flour, honey, dried fruits, cherries, melons, nuts, powdered milk, and confectionery products to the Chinese market.
In conclusion, she added that Kyrgyzstan sells beans, nuts, dried fruits, honey, and meat in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa.
IBC TradEx 2023 forum in Bishkek is dedicated to the promotion of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade. The event is attended by the representatives of the European Union, the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan, the State Statistical Committee, as well as various international organizations and embassies.
