BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. The 'Miwe merkezi' enterprise, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published indicators of canned food production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the company produced 374,000 canned vegetables and fruits, including 46,000 cans in June.
Last year, 'Miwe merkezi' produced canned vegetables and fruit worth more than 7.5 million Turkmen manats ($2.1 million).
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
