BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. The total amount of transactions in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $41.7 million last week, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, entrepreneurs in Türkiye, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas, straight-run gasoline, and kerosene produced at the enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern, as well as desulfurized diesel fraction of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern on the exchange.
Furthermore, representatives of business circles from Türkiye bought a large batch of cotton yarn on exchange for foreign currency.
A total of 31 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
