ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 24. Turkish construction companies implemented projects in Turkmenistan worth $50.9 billion from 1972 through 2023, Trend reports.
According to the official data of the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Turkmenistan ranks second in the market for Turkish contractors after Russia, where construction firms have implemented projects worth about $97.9 billion.
Other major markets for the services of Turkish contractors are Iraq, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia and Algeria.
Turkish companies have implemented over 11,758 projects in 133 countries between 1972 through 2023. The amount of contracts amounted to $480.5 billion.
Moreover, Turkish businesses are effectively carrying out projects in Turkmenistan across various sectors, including trade, investment, construction, energy, transportation, textiles, and manufacturing industries.
