ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 11. Turkmenistan outperformed the production target in the construction and industrial sectors from January through August of this year, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Baymyrat Annamamedov, at a government meeting held on September 8, 2023.
According to him, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan exceeded the work plan by 8 percent, while the Ashgabat city municipality exceeded the volume of completed works and services by 23.3 percent compared to the first six months of last year.
Furthermore, Annamamedov stressed that the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan exceeded the planned production and sales figures by 9 percent, while the State Agency for Road Construction Management exceeded its goals by 2.4 percent during the reporting period.
Meanwhile, the meeting summed up the results of eight months of the government's work, while it was noted that the construction of social facilities for various purposes is being successfully carried out throughout the country.
