Exports via Iran's Qeshm customs up 114 percent

The value of exports from Qeshm Island in Iran rose by 114 percent in the first half of the Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20.

Around 49 tons of goods worth $205,342 were exported from Qeshm customs during the period, showing 114 percent rise in value, the IRNA news agency reported.

The goods included mainly home appliance, iron scraps, and lead ingots.

Some 10,496 tons of goods, worth around $66 million were also imported via the Qeshm customs, mainly from South Korea, UAE, China, Germany, Pakistan, and Brazil.
