The name of the first Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman has been unveiled, Sharq newspaper reported.
Marziyeh Afkham has confirmed news about her appointment as Iran's first FM spokeswoman, adding that some steps remained before finalising the appointment. She has over 30 years of experience at the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Afkham served as director of FM`s Information and Press department for eight years and replaces Abbas Araqchi.
