Georgia’s exports to Uzbekistan from January through November 2021 amounted to $78.2 million, which is an increase of 22.6 percent, compared to $63.8 million over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Uzbekistan’s share in total Georgia’s exports in the reporting period of 2021 slightly decreased by 0.1 percentage points from 2.1 percent and accounted for 2 percent.
Thus, Uzbekistan ranks 10 among Georgia’s main trading partners by exports over the first 11 months of 2021, the report said.
TOP-5 commodities exported to Uzbekistan from Georgia (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Consumer goods – $50.9 million;
Food and beverages – $9.8 million;
Industrial supplies – $7.7 million;
Transport equipment – $7 million;
Capital goods – $2.4 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s exports from January through November 2021 amounted to $3.8 billion – an increase of 26.7 percent, compared to $3.01 billion in the same period of 2020.
