Prime Minister Igor Luksic voiced on Wednesday his satisfaction with the recommendation of European Union's executive to launch accession talks with Montenegro, but said the work has "only begun", dpa reported/
"Obviously our effort to improve conditions in the areas EU pointed to has been recognized," Luskic, on a visit to United States, told dpa. "But that does not mean our work is finished - we must continue reforming and implementing laws with the same motivation."
Luksic described Montenegro's big step toward EU membership as "good news not only for Montenegro, but the whole region."
"I hope the Council of Europe will swiftly approve the recommendations, so the accession talks can begin," he added.
