Turkish foreign policy, based on the principle "zero problems with neighbors" yields positive results, and Ankara, in fact, has very good relations with neighbors, except three of them, the Milliyet newspaper quotes Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Dautoglu as saying.
He highlighted the development of relations with Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine.
Turkey has bad relations with neighboring countries such as Armenia, Israel and Syria, whose policies, he said, are characterized as a crime both against their own and other nations.
"Armenia, Israel and Syria are countries with which it is difficult to negotiate. It is difficult for Turkey to maintain stable relations with them," Davutoglu said.
