A group of terrorists, arrested in Tajikistan were planning to organize a number of explosions in Dushanbe on the eve of presidential elections in the country, Avesta.tj reported on Monday.
The explosions were expected to be made at several state departments including law enforcement bodies.
They also planed to make explosions in the areas of people's mass gathering places.
Tajikistan's law enforcement bodies arrested about ten suspected terrorists.
Arms, explosive substance, special mechanisms and special restricted literature were found as the result of the searches.
The leader of the group is Allamurod Makhanov, who passed terrorist preparations in Pakistan.
